Jill A Herman, the founding shareholder of Herman | Goldstein
, maintained a successful litigation practice for 33 years – representing both plaintiffs and defendants (institutional and individual) in a wide variety of cases, involving virtually every kind of personal injury claim. She is now focusing her practice on Alternative Dispute Resolution and specialized consulting.
Jill's litigation career has included 32 jury trials with an 87.5% success rate (cases with complex liability and damage components, a variety of defense cases, and multiple plaintiffs' cases yielding six and seven figure verdicts); hundreds of mediations and arbitrations; appellate work; over 1,000 personal injury cases handled and settled either prior to or during litigation. Over the course of her career, Jill has been a consistent proponent of Alternative Dispute Resolution. She has arbitrated and mediated well over 100 cases as an advocate (for plaintiffs and defendants) and has been selected as a mediator and arbitrator (by counsel for plaintiffs and defendants, and at times by both) in more than 100 cases.
