Joseph D'Aguanno

Joe is an associate attorney at Herman | Goldstein advocating for injured people and their families. He focuses on malpractice claims against healthcare providers and care facilities, as well as all other types of cases involving injury or death. Additionally, Joe handles insurance bad faith claims and coverage issues. He is dedicated to counseling clients, working with them to resolve cases, and being available to promptly and directly address any questions or concerns. He cares deeply about the individuals he represents and is passionate in pursuing their causes.
Joe was born in Flushing, NY, in 1973, and raised around Italian and Spanish cultures. He received Bachelor of Science degrees in Molecular/Cellular Biology and Mathematics from the University of Arizona in 1996. His career path took him to the Arizona State University Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law where he served as Production Editor for Jurimetrics: The Journal of Law, Science, and Technology. Joe is proud to have received the Outstanding Pro Bono Award - in recognition of his commitment to providing free legal services and advocacy to those in need. He also interned with the Maricopa County Attorney's Office and the Department of Justice's U.S. Immigration Court.
After graduating law school in 2000, Joe joined Olson, Jantsch & Bakker, a small firm specializing in medical malpractice litigation and professional regulation. In November 2007, he joined Pinnacle West Capital Corporation, parent company of APS, where he worked on nuclear regulatory matters, state regulatory matters, commercial transactions and litigation, consumer complaints, and resource/transmission planning. Joe joined Herman | Goldstein, in 2009, to return to his passion of helping those who have been injured or lost loved ones due to the wrongful conduct or negligence of others. He is licensed to practice law in Arizona and is registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. When he is not working, you can find him watching princess movies with his wife and two daughters. Joe also enjoys golf and basketball, and recently ran in the P.F. Chang Half-Marathon after a 20-year hiatus from sprinting in high school.
